if this is the episode I recall then I hate to break it to you that the parents actually spent more money on yet another car just so she could have the surprise on the day of the party just as she wanted it…
There are those that do not believe that a single soul born in heaven can split into twin spirits and shoot like falling stars to earth where over oceans and continents their magnetic forces will finally unite them back into one. But, how else to explain love at first sight?
right… 6 minutes into Starter for 10 and already I’m weeping with a sudden burst of emotion considering I haven’t seen Catherine Tate since The End of Time part II so just seeing her on screen again so lively and everything just… floored me
why are allergies and asthma associated with “nerds” and “geeks”? where did this stereotype come from? I believe being allergic to something or another is practically a universal health issue that has no relation whatsoever to your tastes and hobbies, and I don’t think the capacity of my lungs determines who I am in other people’s eyes. I mean, would you actually meet someone and think they were trekkies, that they liked star wars and collected comic books upon knowing they were allergic and/or asthmatic?
“They had always been close. Jon had their father’s face, as she did. They were the only ones. Robb,Sansa,Bran and even little Rickon all took after the Tullys, with easy smiles and fire in their hair. When Arya had been little, she had been afraid that meant that she was a bastard too. It had been Jon she had gone to in her fear, and Jon who had reassured her.”
I thought Alice Eve’s underwear scene in Star Trek was unnecessary. And a little sexist. But then I found myself drooling over the gifs of Benedict’s cut shower scene and outraged that they would dare cut it from the film. I feel like I’m being a hypocrite now.
the way i see…
exactly, it’s human to feel attraction for a bit of skin, yet this semi-nudity really seems uncalled for, so it is a little sexist. The sad bit here is the way hollywood handles nudity or skin-showing: looking at Benedict’s scene he seems conflicted, angry, possibly spilling a tear or two, so the main focus of this scene is him, his emotions, and not so much the fact that he’s topless. Meanwhile, with Alice’s scene, it’s a random bit showing off her body, a scene that even made it to the trailer. Leaving aside how handsome and well built each of them are, it turns out sex sells when it comes from a woman. Either both show some skin or they don’t, but equally
Benedict’s deleted scene from Star Trek Into Darkness
And they dared to delete it *furious*

The oldest person alive was born on April 19, 1897, meaning that April 18th, 1897 was approximately the last time the Earth was inhabited by an entirely different set of people and if you don’t think that’s the realist shit ever then you can get right on outta town.
